1. HAND MARKING AND CUTTING
In the first construction stages of the client’s commissioned piece, the design pattern is laid out on the cloth and each component is marked, by hand, with chalk, as in a traditional bespoke approach. The cloth is then hand-cut to the pattern with shears by one of our Master Tailors, whom will be dedicated to the precision and finish of that piece. Extra cloth is left at the inlays, known as 'seam allowance', to allow for adjustments and refinements at the final fitting stage and should a customer’s future requirements change.
